Best breakfast on a Sunday morning wih great service by Roxie (Maya 's mom). Best bacon served. Worth the walk to if parking lot full.

Food good...service...good.....what more can you ask for.....maybe....larger seating area...it's all good.....

Always delicious! Used to come here alot when we lived in CV. Never been disappointed by a dish and the corn tortillas are homemade!!! They come to the table warm and soft...just like mama used to make! I love their soups and their chicken salad. My kids are taco and burrito fans.

I didn't like the chicken Quesadilla I got. Soggy and barely any cheese. It had a weird aftertaste. Rice was great though.

Oh my god. Chicken Soup was out of this world . Feeling under the weather mom told me about this place So went to search for. Found the place actually really kinda hiding but very nice place. Walked in 2 very good looking individuals standing in the front. Sorry did not catch there names. But the guys and the lady had great service.. I asked what soup they recommended if i was feeling under the weather. The young lady said chicken soup. I said give me a large. Charge me for it . Came back 10 min later and it was done . All i have to say the broth was out of this world. Thank you guys sorry i did not get your names . Very very good soup. Need to go in and try there other food.

This is hands down the best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. I went there a month before Th we had to shut down and only do takeout, and the inside is no frills, but quaint. The micheladas are INSANE, with a huge portion and tamarind and tajin on the rim.The seafood Molcajetes is incredible, and easily shares between two people. Keep up the amazing food! You can taste the love and care in it :)

Excellent service and delicious food. They were very welcoming and they were making sure we are doing good while enjoying our food. I tipped them good enough without even thinking.

This place is a small restaurant owned and operated by family. The food is above average and is very tasty. Chips and sauce are free which I find many place charge for.The cost is reasonable and has lunch special menu prics from 11am till 1pm.

The food was delicious, I thought it would be hard to find authentic Mexican food in the area but it was so good here! The staff is also so friendly, very attentive to our needs and just an overall great experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Family owned, great service and delicious food. For a real "fish" plate experience, this is the place.

Prices were fair. The serving sizes were fair too. The women's restroom was kept very clean. Very family friendly, they had separate menus for kids. All games and backgrounds are welcome. Calm setting, a bit of music (not live). No good views but is easily seen by a moving vehicle, it's in a small shopping center (enfasis on the small). There's wheelchair accessible parking, and the door is easily opened and kept open with a door-stop. The restaurant name isn't only what they specialize in, there were like four other main entrees that are favorites there, just ask and they will gladly tell you. Their flan is made from scratch (everyday) and my family loved it, they felt the chocolate syrup complimented the overall flavor very well. Great place to stop by and have some yummy food.

They used to have really great wheat pancakes on the menu and now they are gone. The regular pancakes are so so. 😕

Family owned for two generations, great hard working people with serve you with their heart. The food is really good, and be prepare for their serving size is more than you can bargain for. My favorite plate is their fish. I usually call in advance 10 min so when I arrived and my fish is served it feels like royal treatment. J

Roxanna is fantastic, she makes you feel welcome and like family which I think brings a more genuine experience. The enchiladas were delicious! They had the right amount of sauce added to allow the cheese to melt and bring the flavors I loved when at home with my mama. The rice was light and soft. Not undercooked as I find in other places sadly. The horchata tasted natural and delicious. It left a rich velvety flavor of cinnamon on your tongue that danced with the rice milk. The environment was warm and welcoming. 😊❤❤

The carne asada was tough as a piece of leather, only about 1/4 inch thick mostly covered with peppers and onions. The salsa was good

Overall, our experience was mediocre at best. The drinks tasted awful, the fajita was good, but the burrito was served at room temperature and had little taste. The service was okay, as was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Parking is a little Limited, but wasn't too bad on a Tuesday evening. Not sure if we will be going back.

I seemed the like the restaurant and guests were in Mexico. It was so interesting.

Always good service and food. Friendly staff. Small place but not usually too crowded. If there's no parking left in front, just park down the street around the corner. We love to get the fried snapper with salad and the spicy red sauce. Always a nice treat to eat here.

We drive from Pleasanton at least twice a month to eat at this restaurant. Great Mexican food, super service, and they serve wonderful Martigretias. Servings are large (usually take some home to finish later). If you go before 3:00 pm on weekdays, their Lunch Menu is discounted and included soup or salad with your order. Love there complimentary chips & salsa plus.

Albondigas soup was good, but the broth was a little bit thin. Homemade corn tortillas were sooooo good, really fluffy and served hot.

Their lunch specials are excellent and the service is very charming.

my hubby took me here for my bday. we came in and were able to seat ourselves, and our drink orders were taken promptly . hubby suggested we try what they are known for... the MOLCAJETES. so we ordered the seafood one and a super wet chicken burrito...oh and of course we ordered 2 top shelf margaritas no salt on the rocks.😋 drinks were delish and pared nicely with the chips and salsa. Then the food came.........OMG, when I tell you that burrito took up the WHOLE plate😲🤤, I knew it was abt to be a GOOD time😋. So as I'm fixated on this burrito, I cant help but accept the pleasant distracted by this huge bowl of oh-yes-ness. But the real fun began once I started spooning up seafood sunken to the bottom of a red soupy, salsa, situation.. which I dipped my chips in. This experience was definitely birthday material in my opinion.

The guys at my work go to this place all the time for lunch. They have the best lunch specials for an awesome price and the food is so good.

The best Mexican restaurant in Castro Valley, in my opinion. The food is always great and the service also. I had an enchilada from their lunch menu and it was very tasty. It's a simple restaurant with an atmosphere like a diner. They do have a full bar and also an extensive menu. It's locally owned. One more thing: their salsa is fantastic.

One of the better Mexican places in the area. The Molcajetes bowls are huge and really yummy. The soups are hearty, rich, and a family favorite.

Amazing food. I no longer live in town but make sure everytime I am there to go in and eat. Service is always great and the food is always delicious. This is my favorite and I always send people here whenever i hear they are in town. I wish I was there eating it now.
